Informations importantes
Enjoy competitive pricing and excellent added value when booking directly through our website, such as
#1: private pick-up at the start of the tour from hotels located in the very heart of Tromsø downtown, and drop-off at your hotel at the end of the tour within a 10-minute driving radius, subject to weather conditions and accessibility.
PRIVATE ADDRESSES:
After a long tour, our drivers are significantly fatigued and need to return home to rest. In addition, Norwegian regulations limit professional driving time to a maximum of 9 hours per day, which we must strictly comply with to ensure safety for both our guests and our staff. As long as the tour concludes before 02:00 AM, we will drop you off at your preferred address, or as close as possible, depending on weather conditions and accessibility. Drop-off locations must be within a 10-minute driving radius from the pick-up point and Tromsø Island, such as Breivika Ferry Terminal, Workinntoppen, or Polaria.
If you are unsure whether your address qualifies, please contact us in advance and inform us in good time so we can plan accordingly.
Dear value clients,
Thank you for your booking and for trusting us. We are truly delighted to welcome you on an unforgettable Northern Lights adventure with Paradise Northern Light. Our main goal is to ensure a safe, pleasant, and enjoyable experience for everyone on board. Since we will be spending several hours together in a small minibus. To help ensure the comfort and satisfaction of all participants, we kindly and respectfully ask for your attention to the following points. These guidelines are based on feedback from our previous guests through out past seasons.
WINTER CLOTH: (Essential, Important ,Vital ,Crucial information )
It gets extremely cold here in the Arctic. Please wear proper winter clothing, including warm winter shoes with wool lining inside, only one thick pair of wool socks, a hat, and gloves. We may need to walk through several centimeters of snow during this tour. Please wear proper high winter boots, preferably not tight. The wool lining inside the boots together with wool socks generates warmth through friction as you move, which is what helps keep your feet warm.
PERSONAL HYGIENE
For the comfort of everyone, we kindly ask that you maintain good personal hygiene during the tour. This is really important to be allowed to go inside the bus and if you plan to wear our winter thermal suits. Smoking is not permited inside the bus or while wearing the thermal suits. Please note that these suits are shared among clients throughout the season, and keeping them clean and fresh is essential to guarantee a nice experience for all. We kindly and respetfully recommend a shower and clean clothes if you are unsure.
FOOD
Warm food, hamburger, sausages are not allowed in the bus. However, light snacks such as cookies, soft drinks, or small fruits are welcome, but we kindly ask that all waste is collected and either handed to the driver/guide or disposed off properly.
SAFETY & GUIDANCE
Please remember that your guide is responsible for you throughout the tour. In the Arctic wilderness, there are several factors beyond our control such as darkness, weather, snow, road conditions/trafic, and wildlife that can influence the evening. For safety reasons, and to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone, your guide will provide instructions during the tour. We kindly and respectfully ask that you please follow them carefully, as this helps us keep you safe while also maintaining a positive dynamic within the group.
We sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a welcoming and comfortable environment for everyone. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Thank you very much, and we look forward to sharing this magical experience with you tonight!
greetings,
Paradise Northern Light Team
SMALL GROUS UP TO 4 PEOPLE:
Small groups may be cancelled free of charge, no questions asked, up to 24 hours before departure, with a full refund. this flexible policy allows you to pre-book multiple northern lights tours or other excursions with complete peace of mind.
please note, however, that no two tours are ever the same. the northern lights vary from night to night, whale behavior changes daily, and each group and guide creates a unique experience. you did not travel all the way to tromsø to stay in a hotel room — joining every tour you have booked always adds value and unforgettable memories.
BIG GROUPS FROM 5 TO 15 PEOPLE
For large group bookings, a longer cancellation period applies.
Due to planning requirements, operational arrangements, and advance expenses related to transportation, staffing, and logistics, we are required to apply an extended cancellation timeframe for big groups. This allows us sufficient time to manage resources and, in case of cancellation, attempt to fill the reserved places with other guests.
Therefore, free cancellations no questions asked for large group bookings must be made no later than 7 days before departure and before 1800(06:00 pm) in order to be eligible for refund. Please note that we will not issue a refund for big groups for cancellations made within 7 days or less of departure. By booking a big group with us, you agree to these terms.
This policy ensures fair planning for both parties and helps us maintain the quality and availability of our tours. We really apreciate your understanding.
His name is Roberto. He is a serious, responsible, social, and cheerful guide originally from the beautiful island of Cuba 🌞🏖️. Roberto has been living in Norway for over 12 years and in Tromsø for the past 7 years, where he has been guiding Northern Lights tours and has developed an excellent knowledge of the area.
Spanish is his mother tongue, and he speaks English and Norwegian fluently. He also has a background in French, though he is currently a bit out of practice.
Before moving to Norway, Roberto worked in Cuba as an English translator and tour guide. This professional background, combined with his deep passion for the Northern Lights, makes him exceptionally well suited for this type of experience. You will truly be in good hands throughout the tour.
A deep passion for the Northern Lights is what inspired the name of our company, wherever the lights appear, that place becomes a kind of Paradise to us.
Book your tour with us and get ready for a memorable experience.
We look forward to welcoming you!
Excellente question !!!
TOILETS
As our transportation are minibuses without onboard toilets, we kindly remind you to use the bathroom before the tour begins. Toilet stops during the tour depend on the chosen route, tour progress, and logistics. This is not always possible because there are no toilets in the route we take or it may take long time before we are able to do it because we need to prioritize the Northern Lights..
We do not offer discounts, and this is intentional.
Our pricing is carefully set to reflect the true value of the experience we provide. Even so, our rates remain highly competitive compared to other operators in Tromsø. We invest heavily in reliable vehicles, high-quality winter equipment, knowledgeable guides, and small group sizes to ensure comfort, safety, and a more personal experience.
When you book with us, you’re choosing more than a tour. You’re choosing a thoughtfully designed Arctic experience built on quality, reliability, and genuine care, focused on delivering the best possible expirience for an unforgettable Northern Lights adventure
